Debra is a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe, and is Bitterroot Salish/Flathead. Her second book The Lost Journals of Sacajewea was published in collaboration with the master printer Peter Koch and her novel Perma Red received the American Book Award, the Mountains and Plains Bookseller Association Award, and a Spur Award. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
Johnny Arlee is Spiritual Advisor to the Salish and Pend d’ Oreille Tribes. Since 2012 he has been an employee for the Kalispel Tribes’ language program and the Kalispel Tribal Court. He has developed curriculum and transcribed stories to ensure the longevity of the Salish language.
His film credits include serving as the Salish Technical Advisor for Warner Brothers’ JEREMIAH JOHNSON. In his time he assisted in the language, costuming and make-up of the principal actors, in addition so a small acting role. He is featured in the documentary “Awakening” and the feature film “Winterhawk” and is producing and writing a rendition of the Salish & Pend d'Oreille People Meet the Lewis & Clark Expedition.
Filmmaker Lynn-Wood Fields graduated with her MFA in digital filmmaking from the University of Montana. Her work has since gone on to screen at over 100 film festivals worldwide. She edited the award-winning short film Honor Song, about a Blackfeet girl who joins the wrestling team, and Montana PBS’s We Sing. Her thesis film Lost Birds screened at the Cine Film Festival and toured with the American Indian Film Tribal Touring Film Festival.
Wenonah, a member of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, has been screenwriting since 2001 and has written over twenty feature-length screenplays. She's had six short films produced, and in 2018 served as showrunner to FEM 101.

Shaandiin Tome is a filmmaker based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her breakout, award-winning short film Mud (Hashtł’ishnii) premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2018, with foreign debut showings worldwide elevating her as a writer/director.
Shaandiin returned to Sundance in January 2022, co-directing ‘Long Line of Ladies,’ a short documentary where it was premiered. The short film was bestowed with the ‘Documentary Shorts Jury Award’ at SXSW.
She has directed multiple narrative-shifting short documentaries. Her work spans brand companies such as Alterra Mountain Company, Vox, Levi’s, Vice, and Brooks, as well as media organizations PBS, National Geographic, and ESPN.

In January of 2019, PERMA RED joined forces with LA based entertainment law firm RAMO LAW.
Named a game changer and one of “Hollywood’s New Leaders in Law and Finance” by Variety, Elsa Ramo has represented over 90 films and 15 television series in 2017 alone, including 14 that debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018. She established her own law firm to enable up-and-coming filmmakers and producers to bring their stories to life. Her credits include the four Oscar nominated films CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, THE DISASTER ARTIST, LOVING VINCENT, and STILL ALICE.
Stuart Arbury’s has served executive posts at Dimension Films, where he spent two seasons on set for MTV’s SCREAM TV series and worked on several perennial franchises including new installments of CHILDREN OF THE CORN and HELLRAISER, and Captivate Entertainment, producers of the Jason Bourne franchise. Arbury worked for legendary producers Mike Medavoy, where he worked on THE 33 about the Chilean Miners rescue, and Joe Drake, where he worked on comedy hits NEIGHBORS and THE NIGHT BEFORE as well as Gil Keenan’s remake of POLTERGEIST. He’s also a co-founder of the award winning online comedy channel Wolf Knife TV.
Through her business-oriented sales and packaging skills, Tiffany Boyle has brought hundreds of films and documentaries to fruition. Recent producer credits include WHITE RABBIT which premiered at Sundance, BETTER START RUNNING starring Analeigh Tipton and Jeremy Irons, and ASHES IN THE SNOW starring Sophie Cookson and Bel Powley which was recently released by Vertical Entertainment
